Keith J. Kelly reports Newsweek editor
Mark Whitaker will soon move upstairs and
Jon Meacham, currently the managing editor, will be put in charge of day-to-day operations. "Not clear is exactly what role Whitaker will play," writes Kelly. "But he is expected to stay with Newsweek, possibly working on some broader strategic job with the magazine and its parent, the Washington Post Company."
