Starting next Monday,
Jill Carroll will become one of four fellows at the Joan Shorenstein Center on Press, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard. "She wanted to take a leave of absence," says a Christian Science Monitor editor. Carroll plans to research the decline of foreign bureaus in the newspaper industry.
