Hartford's CBS affiliate, WFSB-TV, was
planning to ban all reporters other than its own from today's debate of Connecticut Senate candidates. After protests were lodged, the station agreed to let other media attend. "I think [the station's general manager] was a little caught off-guard" by the negative reaction, says
