Hank Greenberg, former American International Group chairman, has been talking to investment bankers and lawyers about pursuing an offer for Tribune.
Andrew Ross Sorkin says Greenberg has also expressed interest in going after other newspapers and newspaper companies, including the Boston Globe and perhaps even Dow Jones.
