Rick Carroll "has shunned the corporate way of life, pledging allegiance to the Aspen Daily News and passionately opposing The Aspen Times," says the Daily News story. But now he's joining the Times as managing editor. "I've been here (almost) 10 years and I feel like I've done all that I can do at the Daily News," says Carroll. "This is a fresh opportunity for me."
