The Examiner
reported Wednesday that a Baltimore group is in "serious negotiations" to buy the Sun.
Theodore Venetoulis, the leader of that group, tells the Sun that the story is "totally untrue" and that "there are no negotiations going on." He's been unable to get Tribune to disclose financial information about the Sun for his investors to study. The Examiner has
corrected its report.
