Jim Amoss says newsroom employees who filed claims against the Army Corps of Engineers will not be allowed to cover the agency. The desire of staffers to seek damages from the corps is understandable, he says, but "the perception of fairness would be compromised if journalists were involved in corps coverage while they also pursued a legal case against the agency."
