Minneapolis Star Tribune | St. Paul Pioneer Press
The CEO of MediaNews, which owns the Pioneer Press, told employees that he's incensed that
Par Ridder took the newspaper's sensitive information with him to the Star Tribune. "In Par's world, he could get away with anything because Daddy [
Tony Ridder] would always take care of him,"
Dean Singleton said, according to the Pioneer Press
story. He described Ridder's conduct as "clearly unethical, civilly illegal and possibly criminal." Ridder, who was sued Thursday by his former employer, says: "Just know that I am absolutely confident we will prevail."
