Michael Thomas is disappointed. "Perhaps I'm asking too much intellectually, but what troubles me most about Portfolio is how lightweight it is, despite its physical bulk." Give the Conde Nast title a chance, though, he says. "I think it's not entirely fair to review a new publication right out of the gate, before it has found its footing. The fairest course might be to come back after four or five issues." ||
Elizabeth Spiers: "If the premiere issue is any indication, Conde Nast Portfolio will be the Paris Hilton of business magazines."
