Elizabeth Taylor tells readers: "Moving the section to Saturday will separate it from the Sunday newspaper, which already is bursting at the seams with essential reading, and make a prominent place for it on a new day of the week. So, on May 19, Books will welcome readers into its new homes on Saturday and on the Web." ||
Earlier: Tribune figures it saves $500,000 annually by changing Books' publication day.
