Employees of Stamford Advocate and Greenwich Time are hoping to learn today whether Gannett will follow through with its plan to acquire the two papers from Tribune for $73 million. Gannett wants to rip up Advocate newsroom employees' current contract, but an arbitrator says it must be honored.
