Wall Street Journal
Christopher Bancroft fears that selling Dow Jones to Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. would endanger the Wall Street Journal's independence. "I'm open to any situation that benefits The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones and its shareholders. At the moment, I don't see anything that would do that." Bancroft, , who is a Dow Jones director, says he feels personally responsible to the staff and doesn't want to "pull the rug out" on them.
