Contrary to what Tony Blair thinks, the problem of news organizations isn't an abundance of aggressiveness, says Gal Beckerman, but a certain timidity when it comes to stories that matter. "The press needs to be more ferocious, to turn away from stories that seem frivolous, to be its own feral beast and not care what anyone -- the market or the prime minister -- might say about it."
