After learning that the Peoria Journal Star signed up for a one-month trial of his syndicated column,
Gene Weingarten called the city's mayor and asked a few questions, including: "Will my particular brand of humor play in Peoria?" Apparently it won't; Weingarten tells Romenesko the Journal Star didn't run the column. ||
Peoria Pundit: Weingarten's just another journalist who wants to use that tired old vaudeville saying in his article.
