Doug Marlette, 57, died Tuesday morning in a single car accident near Holly Springs in northwest Mississippi. He was the passenger in the vehicle. The Tulsa World
editorial cartoonist previously worked for the Charlotte Observer, New York Newsday, Tallahassee Democrat and Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where he won a Pulitzer in 1988. ||
Tulsa World: Marlette was on his way to see friends in Oxford, Miss., at the time of the accident.
