That's when the New York Public Library will make the Times publisher's letters and other materials available. (The library is still negotiating with former publisher Arthur Ochs Sulzberger over a release date.) The Times has donated personal letters, financial documents, confidential reports, and photographs -- over 700,000 pages in all -- to the library. "In the history of my tenure at the library, this is one of the single most important collections," says president Paul LeClerc.
