Analysts say
Warren Buffett probably bought into Dow Jones after
Rupert Murdoch's overture was made public on May 1 and that he caught shares at a low point when the buyout was in doubt. "This falls into the category of Warren Buffett entertaining himself and making a few bucks," says
Whitney Tilson of Tilson Capital Partners. "My guess is that when [the stock retreated], he probably purchased it as an arbitrage opportunity."
