Scott Baradell says before warning his clients about reporters who give the impression they're going to do a nice story, then return to the newsroom to write a tough piece. Baradell, a former newspaperman, gives eight warning signs that a reporter plans to flip the script. Here's #4:
A competing media outlet has just said something nice about you. If you've been the subject of some laudatory coverage, you're eventually going to meet up with a reporter who wants to knock you off your high horse. Be prepared.
