Seeing
Clarence Thomas peddle his book on "60 Minutes" and "Nightline" was like watching the Home Shopping Network, says one NABJ member. "This was pure journalistic drivel." A spokesman for the CBS newsmagazine says: "60 Minutes' goal in this rare interview was to provide as complete a picture of Justice Thomas as we could. We believe we succeeded." ABC says its interview was "both fair and probing."
