It's set for Friday, but prosecutors want to give the incoming US attorney a chance to review the case.
Robert E. Kessler reports the delay, if granted, would postpone an unusual presentencing hearing at which the judge planned to determine whether higher-ups at Newsday and Tribune who were not prosecuted were possibly involved in the inflation of Newsday and Hoy circulation.
