* Boston Globe: Daily dropped 6.6%; Sunday fell 6.5%.
* Los Angeles Times: Daily up 0.5%; Sunday down 5.1%.
* Chicago Tribune: Daily slipped 2.9%; Sunday fell 2%.
* USA Today up 1%.
