Matthew Felling writes in an e-mail to acquaintances: "I have been let go at CBSNews.com in a 'restructuring' of the Interactive division. ('Restructuring': the 'downsized' of the new millennium.) I'm able to say that while I enjoyed my time as Co-Editor and then Editor of the 'Public Eye' Web site – I walked in insisting I was an 'online columnist' but then, months later, admitted to being a 'blogger' -- I now am looking forward to a new challenge and a new opportunity."
