Bill Keller left for Paris while his paper was preparing its
Eliot Spitzer scoop. "I always feel comfortable leaving the place to [managing editor]
Jill [Abramson]," he tells Strupp. Keller returned to New York on Tuesday -- "not to come back and run the coverage, but come back and watch," he says. "It is exhilarating to be in a newsroom when it is banging away on a good story." || Related
