It's more than appropriate for the press to be scrutinizing Barack Obama's pastor, says Zachary Roth, but John McCain's spiritual adviser, Rod Parsley, has a record of making offensive remarks, too. "The press has largely shrugged off the Parsley story," writes Roth. "I couldn't find one mainstream American news outlet that has so much as mentioned Parsley's extremist views since McCain appeared publicly with him in late February."
