Rebecca Dana
's sources say Katie Couric is likely to leave CBS well before her contract expires in 2011 -- possibly soon after the presidential inauguration early next year. CBS says that "we have no plans for any changes regarding Katie or the broadcast." Dana says one possible new job for Couric is replacing Larry King on CNN.
