An Express-News story about the Spurs' planes was the result of a tip from bus/truck driver Tom Allison, who was disappointed the piece didn't mention him. "All my life I've been a regular guy. I've never done anything significant. This was my chance to show [son] Tommy that his old man could get his name in a Page 1 story in a major newspaper."
