Bloomberg News chief Matthew Winkler says it was always "the dream, the wish, the fantasy" to hire his old mentor, Norm Pearlstine, who starts this week at Bloomberg. "I think I can benefit enormously from having someone like Norm looking over everything that I do and everything we do and saying, 'You know, have you tried this, have you thought of that, maybe you want to try it this way. Maybe you want to think about doing this way.'"
