The Courant filed an FOIA request to get "Spreading the Gospel of Perez," a PowerPoint document that  outlines how Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez's administration should cast the city and the mayor in its most favorable light. The Courant appears first under "Goals/Challenges/Strategies." The document says: "1. Sensational headlines/editorial cartoons sadly sell papers. 2. More worrisome now that use t-v [sic] tactic of more 'teases.'"
