Philadelphia Inquirer
Acel Moore has retired from the Inquirer, but he gets the title of Associate Editor Emeritus, "which, simply stated, means that I am just an old [expletive deleted]." He writes: "I am profoundly saddened to see the departure of journalists who truly have been a part - to echo Henry in Shakespeare's Henry V - of my band of brothers and sisters. BILL LYON: "Forty-nine years doing this, the last 33 for The Inquirer. So maybe it's time to sit down and shut up and let someone else have their say." ||
DANIEL RUBIN: "We said goodbye to about 70 Inquirer journalists today."
