Kurt Heine took Knight Ridder's buyout offer a few days ago and cleaned out his city editor desk at the Philadelphia Daily News. It was
announced on Wednesday that he's joining the Inquirer. "We always thought he was a Daily News person," says Daily News editor
Michael Days. "Turns out he's a Kurt Heine person."
HEINE SAYS: "It doesn't feel good to be vilified. It's not like I sold anybody out."
