Allentown Morning Call
The Chronicles will publish their last editions Dec. 23. The chain's 32 employees will be let go. The Morning Call will also permanently lay off about 5% of its workers. Editor
Ardith Hilliard says the newsroom will lose 20 positions -- about 10% of the editorial staff -- through retirements and leaving positions unfilled.
