Crain's Chicago Business
Former Chicago Sun-Times editor
Michael Cooke is returning to Chicago after resigning as editor of the New York Daily News, reports
Jeremy Mullman. Cooke, who
quit the Sun-Times in January, is returning as the editorial vice-president of Hollinger International Inc.’s 100 Chicago area titles. It was reported in September that Cooke was finding his NYDN boss, editorial director
Martin Dunn, far too controlling and might be looking for a new job. He pooh-poohed the report at the time, saying, "I’ve never had a better job than this." (Related Crain's New York Business
