Some online journalists say the Pulitzer Prizes board needs to further expand the scope of the Pulitzers and allow entries by online-only publications such as Slate, Salon and MSNBC.com. "They have to figure out a way to honor the very best journalism … and not merely protect the newspaper industry," says Salon editor-in-chief
