Columbus Business First
Phil Porter, a former Dispatch business reporter who was dismissed in April after being accused of plagiarism, sued the paper on Dec. 14. He claims the Dispatch used the plagiarism charge as a cover to fire him, when it really wanted him gone because his five-year battle with cancer was becoming too expensive. (Second item.)
