William O'Rourke was the token liberal on the Sun-Times Commentary page until fall. "I presume dumping me was a combination of money and ideology -- or change for the sake of change," he writes. "The question, 'Why are we paying him to attack the president each week?' might have entered the top editors heads with some force at last."
