Romenesko Misc.
Cincinnati Enquirer managing editor
Hollis Towns recently went to a leadership center to learn more about himself. The weeklong experience was "an eye-opening trip down the highway of self-awareness," he writes in the Enquirer's newsroom newsletter. "I knew that sometimes I could be an ass. And insensitve. And unsympathetic. Insufferable. Demanding, among others. But, boy, I didn't know how much." Towns tells his staff that he'll spend 2006 "working on me if you'll do the same about you."
