Cynthia Salerno quickly discovered that the newsmen who rescued her in New Orleans were NBC's
Carl Quintanilla and freelance producer
Doug Stoddart. "They didn't rush over with video running, saying there is a picture that will appeal to middle America, this poor little lady suffering," Salerno tells
James Rainey. "They thought, 'Oh, my God, there is someone in distress who needs help.'"
