A Boston Globe staffer describes the mood at the NYT Co.-owned paper as "uncertain and nervous and worried." Mark Jurkowitz says there a question of whether editor Martin Baron can rally the sagging troops "at what is the most uncertain, uncomfortable, and unsettling moment for the Globe since Tom Winship turned it into a national force three decades ago." BARON SAYS: "As for newsroom morale, I’ve been at it for 30 years. It swings up and it swings down. If it’s down now, it’ll swing back up again."
