Jim Mullin resigned as New Times San Luis Obispo editor a week after
apologizing for a "Meth Made Easy" cover story. General manager
Bob Rucker insists the controversial piece wasn't the problem. "There was a problem knowing the audience," he says. Mullin took the job after leaving Miami New Times last August.
