William Ketter comes up with the idea after reading that Americans know more about "The Simpsons" than the First Amendment. "My bet is it would touch a nerve if the creators cleverly connected the show to the First Amendment freedoms," he writes. "The episode might even include a newspaper reporter sent to jail for refusing to disclose her sources for a story about a leak at the [nuclear] plant that has Springfield on edge."
