Wendy Warren. "However, this is a spectacularly stupid idea, for the reasons outlined below. And I believe that any buyer worth his shareholders should consider them." Her reasons:
* The Daily News makes money now
* The Daily News has enormous, untapped upside potential
* It's ready for the new (multimedia) world
* It has a small and very productive staff
