reports she was later turned over to the Americans and was believed to be in the heavily fortified Green Zone. "She's talked to her father and she's fine," says David Cook, an editor for the Christian Science Monitor. (Carroll said in an interview aired on CNN: "They never hit me and I was well taken care of.")
