Newspaper for blacks to launch statewide

new publication because ethnic media is on the rise. Ethnic media is
print and broadcast outlets that target specific communities.
In a time when large newspapers are seeing profits and circulation
numbers decline, McBride said the Cherry brothers' start-up will not
face the same kind of pressures to perform. For example, big newspapers
owned by corporations are pressured by Wall Street to produce profit
gains each quarter.
Ethnic publications operate on a completely "different business model," she said.
