Teens Reporting; Howell Following Up; Good News on Carroll?
Jim Romenesko
ROMENESKO

What was underplayed or overplayed this week?

Underplayed: The story of the Minnesota high school journalists who outed a sex offender claiming to be royalty. Teens who take out their iPod earbuds and do real reporting deserve a lot of attention.

What are you looking for next week? What will we still be talking about?

  1. Whatever WP ombud Deborah Howell writes on Sunday, the heated discussion about her Abramoff column will continue on left-leaning blogs. Her follow-up column won't satisfy her critics.
  2. I'm hoping that I can post many good-news stories about Jill Carroll next week.
