Nancy Barnes, 45, currently is the Star Tribune's deputy managing editor for content with responsibilities for local news, business, investigations, Sunday and enterprise reporting. She replaces Anders Gyllenhaal, who is leaving the Strib after five years to become editor of the Miami Herald.
