Couldn't get a newspaper job

The New York Times has a good read on The Sports Guy, sportsblogger Bill Simmons, who dealt with his lack of success in landing a newspaper job in 1997 by starting BostonSportsGuy.com. One element of his style? He trashes mainstream sports writers.
