Applications never die
Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito twists and shimmies in response to questions about opinions he stated on a job application 20 years ago.
Journalists start wondering what happened to their 20-year-old applications -- and then remember that they probably didn't state many opinions in them, anyway.
That's probably a good thing.
