St. Paul Pioneer Press
The St. Paul Pioneer Press and parent MediaNews Group have sued former publisher Par Ridder and others, alleging they stole sensitive information as they left for new jobs at the Star Tribune. The lawsuit asks that Ridder -- now the Star Tribune's publisher -- and two other former Pioneer Press employees not be allowed to work at the Minneapolis paper, alleging that they're violating non-compete clauses in the contracts that they had at the Pioneer Press.
