Does anyone actually read these comments? Ah well...

. ClickZ is currently running a series by Mark Sakalosky on optimizing online sales by using the RFM model to segment your customer base. It's depicted as the Next Big Thing. But it's nothing more than some very basic principles advanced (in almost exactly the same way, but without the cute charts) by Shapiro and varian's Information Rules (1998). People covering the online economy should know this.
