I heard not long ago about www.abuzz.com, which appears to be a service under the New York Times site (but may exist independently too).
Abuzz enables you to post a question for all members, most of whom (I believe) hapen to be readers of the Times.
In my limited experience, answers come fast and at high quality.

Would be very interested in seeing this article - just did a quick search on marketwatch and I could not find it.
